what do you all use to prevent and fight viruses!

I use vshield and the scanner that comes with it. i've not had any problems ever since.

I use that to warn and the program to find viruses.

If you've got no money, this is a good choice. I use it all the time and I have the list to watch too.

Use AVG. I've got that and some anti spyware programs.
Your computer should be invincible after getting them.

I use some of the same crap you guys have.

I have norton antivirus, the school provides it free.

Good tip. colleges are providing more antivirus software.

I use Norton Antivirus 2004! No virus is going to hurt my computer nowaday. haha

I wonder if there are other quality antivirus software programs? Some that aren't that well known, but still work.

That McAfee Antivirus, at least, I think they have one. It was my first antivirus and it came with window 98 and you could use it free for 2-6 months trial. Even though I never use it. I never knew what it was for.
