I won't vote yet. I'm using a new HP but things have happened.
Sony is not getting my vote though.

Prolly Apple. They're kinda lacking in support, but god, they're so much more efficient, but directly, you can't compare apples to any of them. Alienwares are just flashy. They're not too special. Compaqs are a rip, HP is compaq and vice versa. Dells are okay. Toshibas are okay. IBMs I have no idea.

I added a few. Im not voting yet as I want to see if custom PC is a valid choice. But ive noticed that you have put some of the big computer makers. Alienware, Falcon NW, and VoodooPC. You not have heard of them, but thats because they dont need to advertise. If your into PCs enough you just know whos who. If custom isnt an option il go with Falcon as they kill Dells support (and dont really need it). They are good with mid level prices, mobile desktops (not laptops, but really small powerful PCs), and laptops. Falcon has laptops but if have to go with Alienware or VoodooPC on those. All three companies are really close. A smaller company called Velocity Micro is close behind too. Il add that too for the heck of it.

Custom is valid since you only have yourself to blame if it breaks down.

Dell, because friends of mine have had them for more than the warranty. They still work to this day.

Sony computer breaks easily. I don't really like Compaq (I'm using it right now). I like HP and Dell, but my vote goes to Alienware.

You people are CRAZY!!!!! Falcon NW or Voodoo PC are wayyyy better quality. They thoroughly test their PCs and offer awesome warrentys.
