Hey people.

I know a lot of you have already seen the trend of emails becoming super sized.
The storage is getting bigger for email providers and also the attachments.

My question is, do we need large amounts of email and large files being sent like that? Maybe it's just email adjusting to file sizes.

Well larger emails can be hard to maintain
and yes they can be put to perverted uses.

The benefit of larger emails is to sent larger files over the net.
Files sometimes exceed normal attachment limits, usually requiring 2 to 10MB.

It can also help businesses employ work from halfway across the country!
Think of it! You don't have to drive anywhere, just complete work for the day, email it and that's it!

Can't wait for that! smile.gif

Bigger email is great for exchanging email
and for storing more email.

I do think that some email systems are going too far with GB storage as email!
Having a few dozen MB storage space is fine!

Having bigger emails isn't all that bad!
More storage, less stress about checking and more attachments to send.

You can even receive larger attachments yourself.
Uh, I'll let you all figure what that could mean for each of you rolleyes.gif

I wouldn't mind a larger email service.
In fact I could really use something like that.

I just worry that some of the 1GB+ providers
will take advantage of members and their email.

That happens with some.
But there are others that can actually provide this service without that consequence.

I still only use a 100MB type email.
It serves me well enough cool.gif
