Well guys I thought it'd be cool to post buyer bewares for computer products.

Today's jackass product is the Sony line of Laptops and Desktops. In particular, I've gotten several reports that the monitors on many Vaio versions of their computers don't work. They are faulty and in particular the montior uses a dual lighting system. The primary lighting commonly fails. On average it only takes less than a year for the flaw to show up. To add injury to insult even if you get it repaired expect it to fail within 1 to 3 years, repeating the whole damn cycle. I'll report this to Sony for as long as it takes. I have to wonder why they would sell such a faulty and inferior product. Do they want to go down as the worst computer producers ever? Looks like it. That's what I've come up with since the same flaw happened not to far from each other. Sony should get it's act together if it wants to avoid the Dungeon Blacklist.

From the sound of your report Progamer it looks like that Sony IS the blacklist.

I know you've got some vendetta on this but its a good idea nonetheless
Does it have to only apply to computers though?

Sucks that Sony creates crappy products. My Playstation 2 stopped working a couple of months ago. I only had it for two years. My Nintendo 64 is even older and it still works. My Gamecube has yet to show me an error.

So Progamer might be on to something blacklisting Sony
