I went into my email today, I'm not revealing it.
Anyways I went in and my email was flooded with improper emails and some emails from angry people. Apparently I sent them some nasty stuff, but I tried to explain I didn't do it.

I was also warned by some of the staff but not removed. I put on all of the security to maximum and changed my password. What happened?

If you have a freebie mail you should make sure it isn't hotmail.
They are most prone to hacks and viruses.

And remember to log out of your email where ever you access it. The last thing you need is it falling in some loser's hands. Also, you want to check your own computer for viruses and spyware. Viruses can usually send bogus emails out like you were complaining about.

Sorry Mint, you should be more careful.

You should watch yourself on public computers.
Even if you type in your email address on some faulty computers you may end up receiving the spam of a virus or script. I make it a policy not to check email on public computers. Going to the dungeon on public computers is okay wink.gif

Mint, Hotmail is the blacksheep of free email.
My cousin has one of their pay for programs and its better than hotmail.
All of the other free programs are close to screwed with the protection they offer.

I think Mint's computer was another victim of "crashed email"

Poor girl.

I've since changed my email.
Now I only access it from home.

I was confused about the title at first cus I dont think it "crashed". What happened is trojons viruses and spyware got into your computer and possibly did a keylog of the password you typed. Make sure to have the nessesary anti-virus and anti-spyware programs.

She could also mean that spam and viruses are sent non stop to her email.

That totally sucks! mad.gif

^ That's what happened in the end.
I received 50 emails in one day from people I don't even know.

I've since changed to another provider.
And like Pretty Soldier said I'm checking it only on my computer.
