Hi guys. I wanted to post that opera was made into a free program smile.gif
You can use it as an internet explorer alternative. I have it and so far I like what it does. It seems similar to mozilla gecko and netscape so it shouldn't be that bad to have.

Opera is hard to use on this forum though.
The only way you can get it to work is if you use New Topic and Add Reply not fast reply.

I don't think I'll switch from Firefox.

Black Piccolo- 09-28-2005
See yeah, I'd rather use Firefox or the gecko Mozilla.
Opera still has browser bugs in it. And you can't even do this forum or most post forums right in Opera.

This is a good alternative to IE. I'm glad you brought this up, because IE is so bad no matter what improvements they put on it. I still get errors and crashes when i open IE and i've run scans and spyware checks.

Just use Mozilla Firefox. tongue.gif

Gee how many free anti-IE browsers are there?

I heard of both Mozillas but what is Opera like?

SigmaZX- 09-30-2005
Eh, I still use IE. Half because I have a style of computer use and web surfing that rarely picks up spyware or causes errors, and half because I'm too lazy to download and install it.

Opera is just like Mozilla, but less developed. FireFox was an instant hit, Opera has yet to be strongly recognized.

^ I was going to post that before I said good night. biggrin.gif

Hah, that's what kinda difference 9 minutes makes, eh?

I'm so lazy that I'm still using IE 5. The one that comes with Windows ME.

AOL has a browser too, but its an IE ripoff.

IE rules! The rest stinks. Everything is working fine for me, so hah!
